Why Do I Get Lightheaded From Smoking Cigarettes

Sullo schermo del pensiero, filosofia e cinema

MILANO – Al via la seconda edizione the review "on the screen of thought" which will include five films together, this year, with meetings with intellectuals, artists, philosophers propose that a key to an unexpected and original film made.
The event is organized by the Centre culturel français de Milan (who host the event in its espace cinéma) and ScenAperta Altomilanese Theatres, a company specialized in the study of the relationship between philosophy, theater and cinema, and is supported by the Province of Milan.
First appointment Tuesday, October 26 with "La chambre verte" by Truffaut, followed by Avildsen films, Godard, Emilie Deleuze, Bertolucci. Each projection - in Agreement with the theme chosen by the authors of the project: Paul Bignamini, Mauro Carbone and Claudio Rozzoni - reflect on the relationship between the philosopher and filmmaker, when the figure of one is transformed into that of another.
"The philosopher and the director - to support in this regard Maurice Merleau-Ponty, quoted by Jean-Luc Godard - have in common a certain way of being, a certain worldview, which is that of a generation."
"Cinema and Philosophy - Novo says Umberto Maerna, Department of Culture of the Province of Milan - are often regarded as the moments of our lives in their own right. "On the screen of thought" has the merit of insisting on the ability of language cinematografico di 'farsi pensiero', evidenziando così come il cinema sia filosofia, e come la filosofia sia cinema, ovvero vita”.

" Since then, the French philosophy - Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Lyotard, Deleuze, then at the same
outside national borders - has been trying to find reasons to overturn that view, the film gradually recognizing the truth of his peculiarities of expression and the thought of spreading.
